Eastern Access Community Health is a diverse and innovative primary health, disability and community support provider in the Eastern Region of Melbourne. EACH manages an annual recurrent budget of approximately $15 million, employs over 300 staff, and engages the support of 250 volunteers. The organisation maintains a wide range of community partnerships and works collaboratively with other agencies to deliver quality services into the communities of the Eastern Region.

The Occupational Health and Safety (OHS) system is well developed and has achieved external accreditation through Safety MAP Initial level and OHS Standard AS/NZS 4801-2001 as well as receiving the WorkSafe Victoria Workplace Health and Safety Committee Award in 2003.
The system is managed through an OHS committee that comprises representatives from the designated workgroups across EACH. The key to the success of the OHS systems within EACH is the active engagement of an enthusiastic group of Health and Safety Representatives and liaison workers across EACH?s diverse workplaces.
