Cimpress Australia (formerly Vistaprint) announced in May of 2015 it has received a Shingo Award from the Shingo Institute.
Often referred to as the ?Nobel Prize for Manufacturing? The Shingo Institute recognises companies for delivering world class results and demonstrating an ongoing commitment to leading and influencing a strong culture of operational excellence. This is the first time a company has been recognized by the Shingo Institute for its capabilities in the printing industry.
In early 2010 Cimpress began preparations to launch the new APAC Vistaprint site, in Derrimut VIC. Upon operation commencement, the leadership team immediately launched a Lean framework and manufacturing system all whist ramping up plant production. The team supported $30M of revenue and a 44% growth rate in the first year of production.
