INSIGHT NEWS

Thank-you to all the Insight hosts and participants for all your support throughout 2009. We wish you a safe and happy festive season, and a new year filled with excellence.

There is no greater endorsement of the value provided by an organisation than a customer who regularly re-orders a product and tells others, a supplier who is prepared to partner with you, and a stakeholder who gives on-going support, encouragement and the opportunity to grow.

i2e has been the beneficiary all of these attributes in the past 3 years - from those who have participated in an Insights event, hosts that have generously opened their doors to share their excellence, and a Victorian government that supports this 'not-for-profit' to foster a community of best practice.

The latest newsletter includes information on Hansei Reflections, the 2009 Insights program and events calendar and some Insightful thoughts.

SPECIAL FEATURES
5th Lean Enterprise Australia Summit
Melbourne - March 18 & 19

Lean Thinking in Manufacturing & Services

This event has been on the calendar of Lean Leaders for 5 years.
This year's Summit will again bring together senior managers and lean implementers to share their success stories and implementation methods with a special emphasis on practical lessons you can put to work in a difficult economy.

In plenary sessions, executives will describe the business cases for applying lean principles, whether to free cash quickly, improve profits, improve productivity, or reduce lead times. They'll also explain why lean is a growth strategy and how it is transforming the entire business. Breakout session speakers from companies will follow up on the plenary discussions by providing implementation details, results, and next steps.
