Jomor Healthcare is a designer, manufacturer and retailer of healthcare equipment including beds, mattresses and other furniture for private homes, nursing homes and hospitals.
Jomor undertakes activities in design, prototyping, manufacture, installation and maintenance of all home, nursing home and hospital equipment. Jomor is working towards offering complete solutions, where all the needs of fitting out a room for a person with increasing needs can be found.
With customers in all Australian states and a few overseas countries, the latest range of products sees Jomor poised to expand further. Working with their suppliers the company is using the latest products to improve the product life and reduce the whole of product life cost to the customer. The company has 35% of their staff trained in engineering and have recently focused more on manufacturing. Design for Manufacturing has become a cultural change in the organization where by all products are analysed before they are put into manufacturing. This has resulted in improved manufacturability of the products and with staff input from all levels has improved the quality of the products.
Jomor Healthcare is company accredited by ISO9001 and all products are Therapeutic Good Administration approved. All products are tracked by serial number to ensure the highest standards are maintained. Jomor operate in a highly competitive market with both local and overseas multinationals.
All this work on innovation and systems has been rewarded with Jomor receiving preferred supplier status with two new major national healthcare providers in the last year, all this on top of a growing customer base. Ensuring Jomor will grow into the future.
